Dara Lo is a Singapore-based multidisciplinary artist and singer-songwriter from the Philippines. She is currently pursuing a BA (Hons) in Fine Arts at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), affiliated with the University of the Arts London (UAL), as a recipient of the Scholarship Award for AY24/25. Her practice investigates a wide range of object-based, performance, sound, and site-specific approaches relating to her personal and family histories, exploring concepts of identity, displacement, the mundane, and time. Her paintings on tiles capture and redefine the boundaries of public and private spaces, social vulnerability, and the fluid nature of self.

She has exhibited her works internationally, namely Visionary Art Collective's 'Belonging' virtual exhibition, Super Duper Gallery’s ‘Realism Beyond Reality’ in the Philippines, and The School of the Arts ‘Escape To:’ in Singapore. She received the Artistic Talent Award for the Jeune Pinceau International Young Artist Competition 2023 where her work was displayed in France, Singapore, Hong Kong, and China.

She was a gallery assistant for Peres Projects in Art SG 2024 and an exhibition host for the Singapore Art Museum (SAM) 2023. She designed and customized art on denim as one of the guest artists for the Levi’s 150 Years of 501 event in the Philippines. She also paints on an ad-hoc basis for Mural Lingo, a creative studio that works at the intersection of arts and technology, for projects such as Volkswagon, Shell, and Bugis Street SG.
